Channel One Dumps Foul-Mouth Sisqo Into Middle School Classrooms

January 14, 2001

 What in the world is
the foul-mouth rapper Sisqo doing in your son or daughter’s middle
school homeroom?

Your child is being encouraged to buy his filthy CDs. He is shown
on a Pepsi commercial that Channel One is forcing children to watch
in school. No mention is made that his CD contain explicit lyrics.
Matter of fact, because the school is making children watch the Pepsi
ad with Sisqo, this thug is getting the implicit endorsement of the
school. ("Mom, Sisqo is OK because he is on our school TV every
week.")

No Sisqo music is played on the commercial, but an "artist" like
Sisqo agrees to do a commercial like this on Channel One because
he gets exposure to a young, impressionable audience. Teachers don’t
know this "artist" sang the vulgar "Thong Song".
Although no mention of his CDs are made and the commercial is pushing
the kids to drink more Pepsi, the net result will be more sales of
Sisqo’s filth to children.

Be warned, here is some of the
Sisqo’s lyrics that he wants to pump into your child’s headphones:

" I got to get it
You won’t forget it
Kiss you under your navel
I’ll go where he won’t go
I got to get, got to get it
Just let me hit just let me hit it
I’ll kiss the lips under the navel
I’ll bet he won’t go where I go"

Students, put your
books down. Sisqo is on your classroom TV.
