Starlet

May 4, 2005

The WB Network is a major advertiser on Channel
One News. This is real bad news for parents.
The Starlet is an American Idol rip-off where the winner gets a contract
with Warner Brothers.

Why are taxpayers subsidizing Warner Brother’s marketing?
Ask your school board member. If your community’s schools are still
showing Channel One News, then you are getting robbed. Warner Brothers
is stealing time from your students. Time is money and taxpayers
are the source of the money.

Obligation’s Jim Metrock said, "School officials
look foolish when this nonsense is shown to students. How miserable
do you have to be as an educator to NOT be offended by this? Schools
with Channel One News are not serious about education. It is that
simple."
