Cairo High removes Channel One News from their school day.

Cairo High School has expelled Channel One News from their school day. Like many schools that have yet to end their contract with the controversial youth marketing company, Cairo High has moved the airing of Channel One News to a time before school starts.  Schools like Cairo High have no problem with showing Channel One News when few or no students are at their desks. Schools feel comfortable breaching the Channel One contract because it seems the contract has become an unenforceable, sham contract.

Cairo High School airs Channel One News before school starts. This is a breach of Channel One’s contract. The contract requires the program with its commercials to be shown after the tardy bell and before the end of the school day.  Also note that Cairo High administrators allow only 10 minutes for the 12-minute program.
